Welcome to Schmollers Jahrbuch!

The "Journal of Applied Social Science Studies" also known as "Schmollers Jahrbuch" is published four times a year. In 2000 the idea of Schmollers Jahrbuch as a forum for interdisciplinary studies as well as applied social sciences meaning research applying social science methods to problems of the "real world" was revitalized. The journal is bilingual and has access to an international pool of referees which garantees a high standard of published contributions. The journal focuses on european topics.

The "Journal of Applied Social Science Studies" stands in an over 120 years old tradition of high level economic and interdisciplinary research. It was founded under the title "Journal of Legislation, Public Administration and Judicature in Germany" and became famous as "Schmollers Review of Legislation, Public Administration and Economics".
